Post Op Recommendations
- Do not do any strenuous physical activity or get emotionally excited as this may cause bleeding, at least two weeks post op.
- Do not strain in the bathroom (take bowel softeners) and be careful when coughing or sneezing, at least two weeks post op.
- Do not drink alcochol nor smoke nor drink any medicine that contains aspirin at least two weeks post op.
- Do not use hot or warm compresses. Cold compresses are recommended.

- there is pain or discomfort not responding to medication
- there is profuse bleeding requiring an extra dressing.
- the facial dressing is too tight.
- you have a fever greater than 101 or a shivering attack.
